Story of the Week

Well, really last week.
So last Monday, I realized I left my running shoes in Colorado and Brandon has needed a new pair for a while. We packed up T and headed to the nearest discount shoe store. We entered and I go to the the girls side while T and B head to the other side.
I found a pair quickly and T likes everything he sees. He kept taking the shoes down one by one and showing anyone within 3 aisles his new found, "shwew."
Brandon wasn't as lucky in his shoe search so we decide to reward T for being so good. We had been looking for a replacement to T's flamed out Vans that are starting to smell... actually stink. T loved trying on shoes and that's when Brandon looked at me and said that he thinks our child is going to be a shoe salesman. I chuckle and think about future shoe discounts for his loving mother and then we check out.
We get in the car. And, just like when I pick T up from school, if there's a good song on, he and I car dance together. Rhianna's "Disturbia" was on, one of my son's favorite dance tunes by the way, and so we start dancing. Brandon looks at us and says, "Great. A gay shoe salesman."
