Crawfish 2009

The bugs...

The cook...

The result...

Sorry if you're looking for pics of Thomas on this post. I wasn't in charge of the camera and I'm pretty sure this is the only picture we have of him that day. I'm choosing to believe that he's playing with the baloons and not going for the beer...

Jim, Jeff and the Walker boys taking a time out from their fierce game of washers.

Nat and Baby Abby...

Mom, Allison and me.

Jen and a live one!

Singing in the Rain

Thomas and his friend Noah made the best of the terribly cold and wet weather we had last week. Thanks to Noah, Thomas is now an official rain puddle-stomping aficionado.

If you look close you can see their "monster" splash.

There's a reason why they say "no adults allowed"

That's me, trying to fit in the Chickfila slide with T.

I do not suggest that a normal sized adult try to climb to the top of the playscape.

It was difficult even for me, the shortest person you know over the age of 12.

Shamrocks and donuts

T and Brandon went for their normal Saturday morning donut run this morning. T has discovered the beauty of the sprinkled donut and picks 1 special one each time. This morning he picked a clover shaped donut covered in green sprinkles.

You're thinking, "Okay. That's really not worth blogging about..."

Well, lets just say its the same color going in as it is coming out.

Our own little St. Patrick's Day shamrock of sorts.:)

Off to school

He's gotten entirely too big...

When Brandon drops him off every morning, he has to put his backpack on, walks by himself to the door at Ms. Deborah's and then he says, "Bye bye, Dada." He then proceeds to take off the backpack, put it on the table and walk down the hall to see which of his friends are already there.

If Brandon talks to Deborah too long, T will come back out of the classroom and look at Brandon and say, "BYE BYE, Dada." In other words, "Dude, it's time for you to leave already. I've got a busy day of playing ahead of me and you're cramping my style..."

Mama and Daddy's little helper

Thomas wants to be involved in everything that we do right now. So we're letting him as much as possible. Let's hope he's this enthusiastic in 10 years when he has to do some of these things as chores!:)

Helping Daddy change the flood light.

The cupcake incident of Valentine's 2009.

Washing dishes with Mama. (This is where he wants to be every night while I'm cooking. It's really cute but he's figured out how to fling water across the kitchen with the scrub brush. I don't think the dishes get really clean that way, but he thinks it's hilarious.)
