The Anatomy of the Toilet Lid

I ran to get the camera the other night because Thomas now thinks he can get in the bathtub by himself by throwing his right leg up and over the edge. He's still slightly vertically challenged and isn't quite tall enough, but it's really cute.
But here's what I came back in to find. We've so far been able to discourage the interest in the toilet. I think we've been duped.
You can see how worried he is about getting caught.

"Oh, hey mom."

"There goes my bath soap."

"Hee, hee, hee"

Looks like we're off to buy the toilet lid locks.

By the way, here's another cute picture of Betsy and Thomas...

Quick update

I just want to thank my mother for introducing me the the crack-cocaine of computer games- spider solitaire. I have a garage that needs to be cleaned out, a ton of work I could be doing and I could have been posting pictures. But no, for the last 45 minutes I've been playing spider solitaire. I'm warning you. Unless you have about 3 hours a day to kill doing nothing, do not play the game. It will suck you in and consume your life...

On another note, here's what Brandon and I deal with every night. I severely dirty boy who's insistent on feeding himself. I have learned the hard way not to show up at the dinner table without a fork/spoon/utensil for him unless I want to deal with a fit on the scale of Godzilla. Did I mention he's developing a temper? I have no idea where he got it...

Thomas met his betrothed Betsy this weekend when her mama (Ruth) escaped the heat of Austin to the desert of Dallas (really Trophy Club). We kept saying that we were going to show these pictures at their wedding. I hope the kids know we were not kidding.

Daddy, can I come with you?

There's another picture I wanted to show of him figuring out how to open the toilet, but its not rated PG. So, you get another "ham and cheese" picture from the bath with a strategically placed toy instead.

And we're growing and growing

(Yes, Grammy and Pop, it's going to be an expensive Christmas this year...)
I wanted to give a shout out to my two new nephews that were born on Monday. Brandon's rock-star sister stayed pregnant for 34 weeks and 2 days and the boys look awesome. I don't have pictures yet, but Jace looks JUST like Halle and Jackson is definitely a Walker boy. Both are in the NICU, but are breathing on their own. I'll keep you posted as soon as I get some pics.

Elle and T

My mom and Jana got to meet Elle this week while they were in town. T decided to show off and kiss baby Elle while my mom was holding her.

Walk softly and carry a big pinata stick

At least that's the motto Thomas lives by...

So the helmet is a little big, but we're all about safety here.

Donuts with Dad

On Saturdays, Thomas and Brandon get donuts for breakfast. Chocolate donut holes are our favorite. Thought I'd show you the progression of the donut hole fiasco.

Pretty clean, but we're just getting started (notice today it's a wooden spoon he's attached to...)

The chocolate is starting to spread.

Who me? Messy?

Where's my napkin?

Super Fun Bath Time.

Check out my new bath trick! I like to steal the bath toys from dad, grab hold with my teeth, start shaking my head and growl...
Here it is with my toy screwdriver...

And with my rubber duckie...

No, Dad, you can not have it back...

And that's the last picture I took before I dropped the camera in the water... Super klutz strikes again. The camera was saved... thank goodness!

Crazy sleepy boy

Thomas was in rare form the other night. He wouldn't, or rather, couldn't stop laughing. It might have had something to do with all the oreo "tastes" his daddy gave him before bed. I couldn't pick which picture to post becuase they all made me laugh.
