Long time no post

Sorry for the delay in posting. Between Brandon's trip to Denver and Grammy and Pop's trip to Winter Park/Frasier and my trip New Jersey and Mama B's trip here, things have been a little busy. There could not have been a worse time for work to make me go to Jersey. Thankfully we're all back home. Thomas survived his first parentless nights. (Our work trips overlapped...) He was an angel for Mama B (Would you expect anything else?) She, by the way, wins the best mom ever award. I don't know what I would have done last week without her graciously coming in town. (Grammy gets the best mom-in-law award for helping me with my fire drill today. Thanks again, Sandy!) So here are the pics from the past week:

Dad's finger tastes pretty good...

but I still prefer my thumb/fist/wrist. (We think he gave himself a hickie today on his wrist...)

Look at me on my tummy. Laying on my back is soooo last week!

Just call us Ice T and Master B.

He learned how to hit/bat at toys with Mama B.

"Yeah, I'm hot stuff!"

Nap time for the boys.

Random Cuteness from Saturday

This sweet face should have been the warning we needed. Right after this, he exploded all over Aunt Jana and the two blankets she was nestled in. That was just the first of three times he got her yesterday. The best was in the bridal shop when we had to walk out in nothing but a diaper because he has outgrown the back-up onsies in the diaper bag...

He definitely likes Sponge Bob better than Veggie Tails. He would have never fallen asleep during Sponge Bob!

We have been "reading" magazines and flyers that have babies in them and he has really started talking to to the babies on the pages. Yesterday, we read "I love you through and through" and he talked to the little boy on every page. His favorite was "I love your top and I love your bottom." He laughed every time we got to that page.

This he got from his daddy. Even his Grammy says this is Brandon's sad face. So pitiful.

And if anyone else caught the bridal shop comment up at the top of the post, the trip wasn't for me (obviously). That's right- my little sister will be wearing a wedding dress soon. She's promised to wear white and not camoflauge!

The ultimate tax deduction

Thought everyone at Mama B's office would enjoy this... He's obviously trying to figure out how much income to declare and whether he should claim his parents as one or two dependents.

Yo, mom!

This is him having a very in depth conversation with his mobile bunny. It was hilarious... of course I needed to be at work in 30 minutes and instead of straightening my hair, I joined in on the little talk. That's what ponytails were invented for, right?

Splish Splash

This week marked the end of us bathing Thomas on the bathroom counter. I don't know if you can see the water flying, but we were ending up with more water on the floor and me (Brandon never got the brunt of the attack) than in the tub. He LOVES to splash and splash and splash. The downside of moving him into his bathroom tub is he also liked to look at himself in the mirror while he was splashing...

T is for Turtle

Thomas found his mobile today. Oh the joy and endless giggles. It was great!

Man in the mirror

One of Thomas' new favorite things is to look in the mirror. Here he is flirting with himself...:)

We are the Aggies

It might not have been pretty, but it is was a win. Yesterday was the epitome of what it's like to be an Aggie football fan. We're up by 19, looking like we're going to skunk Fresno State, and then they comeback and tie it up. Send us to not 1, not 2, but 3 agonizing OTs. Are you kidding? At least we weren't there to witness it. Last year during the OU game I almost had a coronary...

This is what Thomas thought of the Aggie defense in the 2nd half...

Beat the Hell Outta Fresno State

No, your eyes do not deceive you

Yes, that is Thomas in his CRIB! All alone in his finished room. Such a beautiful sight!

Roll over, I'm crowded

He's starting rolling from his belly to his back. Not consistently, but he's getting better at it. Brandon had Sponge Bob on the other day during "boy time" and Thomas was staring at the TV. Brandon rolled him over so he couldn't see the TV, and little man rolled over not once, but twice to get back to see the sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. I guess everyone has their own motivation...

3 months and counting

One of the things I love most about my little man is how happy he is every morning. No crying, just smiling and giggling. Of course I hate to leave him to go to work, but isn't this the best expression to wake up to in the morning? How can you have a bad day after that?

Howdy and Gig 'Em

Thomas' first Aggie win was celebrated in true style. Whoop! Aggies 38- Mont State 7
