Thomas loves his new toys that he can push and walk with. And oh by the way, he's walking... and standing and falling and walking again. Crawling is soooo last year!:)

Have you ever tried to wrangle cats? That was what it was like trying to get Ella and Thomas to take a picture together. This was the closest we could get them...

Big Al and Brandon and Father's Day. It was a Luckenbach themed day. I was inspired by the AWESOME onsie Ruth sent Thomas for his birthday. (By the way- our busy schedule has impaired my thank you note writing. So Ruth- here's my shout out for the shirt. )

Thomas got to go to work with Brandon a couple of Mondays ago and meet Lefty Kreh. Now that might mean nothing to you, but that's Brandon's version of meeting Johnny Unitas or Mickey Mantle. Brandon learned to tie flys and to fly fish based on Lefty's books growing up and now he gets to work with him. How cool is that? And then Thomas got to meet him. Even cooler.

So T has started this random attachment thing lately. Everything I read said that this is the time kids form an attachment to something like a blanket or a toy. Thomas' has chosen his toothbrush. And if that's not around, a spoon will do, or a plastic wine glass. (see below) He will find an object, grab hold and not let go ALL day. That includes all meals, diaper changes, naps, and car rides. This is the night he decided he needed my glass to get through dinner. He proceded to "drink" his grilled cheese...

We think it is very cool that Thomas got to meet Lefty. T is so cute! It looks like the 1st birthday was a lot of fun and big success! Maybe our little ones can get together to play sometime soon.
